Teaching children to perform Salaah.
Q. Every Friday I teach how to perform Salaah to the whole school. A practice of 2 rakaat Sunnat of Jummah is done as they recite and make approriate actions of Salaah. Before Takbir-e-Tahrimah I instruct them to recite Ta'aw-wuz, Tasmiyah, Inni wajjahtu... and an English intention. I have informed the Principal that I personally do not do this, to which he replied will not be changed. Should I continue teaching this?
A. The act of teaching the children to perform Salaat is a very good one. The practice should be done in a manner that is correct. As such, you can continue by doing that which is correct.
