Ladies singing Qaseeda to men.
Q. Is it permissible for ladies to sing Qaseeda to men? What is the rule pertaining to the voice of women in Shariat?
A. It is not permissible for ladies to sing Qaseedas to men because of the fitnah that can take place. The voice of women is not awrah but because of fitnah it is not permissible for them to give Azaan or recite loudly where men are permitted to do so.
