Virtues of Suratul Mulk

Al-hamdulillah, Allah the most gracious, the most merciful, has given us so many favors, that we are unable to count them all.
My dear readers, can we say as human beings and slaves of Allah, that we truly appreciate these favors which Allah has granted us and continues to grant us? Allah has sent down for us the greatest gift {miracle} that has ever been sent to mankind, the Quraan. And He has sent the best from amongst mankind; the Rasool {S.A.W} to teach us this Quraan.
The Rasool {S.A.W} said, Indeed there is a surah in the Quran having thirty verses, which intercedes for its recites until he is forgiven and that is Tabarakalladhi biyadihil mulk. {Sura 67} {Tirmizi}. Subhanallah! How great is Allah, that he has even given us a way to ensure our forgiveness.
Ibne-Abbas {R.A} narrates that someone amongst the companions of the Nabi {S.A.W} set up his tent over a grave, without realizing that it was a grave, suddenly he heard the person of the grave reciting, Surah Mulk, up to the end of the Surah. He came to Nabi {S.A.W} and said, Oh Rasoolullah (S.A.W.), I set up my tent unknowingly over a grave, and suddenly I heard someone reciting Surah Mulk up to its end. Nabi {S.A.W} said, It is the defender, it is the protector which safeguards him from the punishment in the grave. {Tirmidhi} How merciful is Allah? He has given us a remedy for the punishment of the grave.
Ibne-Masud {R.A} narrates that, the torment starts from the side of the feet of a dead man in the grave. The feet say There is no way for you to come through us, for he used to recite Surah Mulk {Surah 67}.
Then the torment advances towards him from his chest or the stomach. It says: There is no way for you to come through me, for he used to recite Surah Mulk. Then the torment advances towards his head .The head says: There is no way for you to come through me, as he used to recite surah Mulk. {Mustadrak Hakeem}.
My dear readers, there are numerous ahaadith which could be quoted on the virtues of this surah. The real question is how many of us actually read this surah? We know so much about its virtues.
Allah has sent it for us, and we are told about its protection of us in the grave but yet, we make no effort towards the reciting of it. Is it because we dont know to recite the Quraan? Or is it because of sheer laziness and negligence?
Im sure that we all know the answer to all these questions. My respected muslims, let each and every one of us pays heed to the advice of our beloved Rasool {S.A.W} for our own benefit, and our own salvation, Inshaa Allah.
